Primary Education

At SEK Los Valles, primary education advances the development and autonomy of its students, continuing the practice of skills and abilities in an environment with numerous opportunities for meaningful learning. This is complemented by emotional education experiences to foster personal well-being and that of the entire surrounding community. All areas of being will be stimulated to awaken talents and encourage full participation.

In Primary, we continue with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, known as PYP, which promotes collaborative work, with an active methodology and the application of the International Baccalaureate attributes in every learning opportunity. Open-mindedness, communication, reflection, and other qualities will be present every day, making them true citizens of a globalized, international world.

A comprehensive education demands that its students develop adequately and at a good level in a second language, as occurs in our environments, and English is developed from the early years with results evidenced by entities such as Cambridge, which evaluate its progress year after year. On the other hand, a third language accompanies us on this journey, and on this occasion it is French, present among the linguistic challenges.

Robotics and Programming, plus Art and Music, along with Physical Education and Swimming, complement the educational curriculum for students aged 6 to 11 in this cycle, Primary Education.
